Do you use silicon grafts in augmentation of the nasal bridge for Asian noses?
I don’t use the silicon grafts due to infection and allergic issues caused by an inorganic matter inside the nose. My first priority is septal cartilage, 2.nd rib cartilage, 3. Ear cartilage, 4. Radiated cadaver cartilage.
Do you have more pictures of asian rhinoplasties if this is something you do? Specificially alar base reduction and low bridge correction.
Hello Asiana thanks for your question. Assoc.Prof.Dr.Suleyman TAS performs Asian rhinoplasty which generally requires augmentation of the bridge and alar base reduction. He prefers using organic cartilage such as septal or rib cartilage.
