Mark b. Constantian, md, facs – short biography dr. Constantian is a graduate of columbia college, dartmouth medical school, and the university of virginia school of medicine. In new hampshire private practice since 1978 he is clinical professor of surgery at the university of wisconsin school of medicine and visiting professor of plastic surgery at the university of virginia and is the author of more than 100 textbook chapters and peer-reviewed papers and three textbooks. Dr. Constantian is past president of the new england society of plastic and reconstructive surgeons, the northeastern society of plastic surgeons, and the rhinoplasty society, and since 1977 has received 23 regional, national, or international awards for his clinical and basic science research, most recently the lifetime achievement award from the rhinoplasty society, the goldwyn award from the new england society of plastic and reconstructive surgeons, the honorary citation from the american society of plastic surgeons, clinician of the year from the american association of plastic surgeons in 2015, and an honorable citation from the american society of plastic surgeons in 2019. Dr. Constantian received the key to the city of nashua in 2015. His second textbook, rhinoplasty: craft and magic, was published in 2009 and his most recent text, childhood abuse, body shame, and addictive plastic surgery: the face of trauma, was published in 2019. — PROF.
